The Garment

You were among the first ones who understood that life is the most sublime invitation that God could offer you, an invitation to live in love, joy, peace, beauty, and well-being for all; but you did not accept it, you did not want to participate in accordance with God's will. You used this knowledge and invitation for your thirst for power, for your greed, for your power and prestige. You were among those who were unable to recognize the invitation from the very beginning, but then life helped you in all ways and with every possible useful knowledge to understand God's sublime invitation.

You were invited to live life in the most beautiful and fullest way, but you did not care at all, you dedicated yourself to your work, to your business, to your interests; you betrayed the task entrusted to you, you ridiculed and then killed the prophets and servants of the light that life sent to help you to understand. You were among those who had already betrayed and denied the wonder of life, you were among those who were squandering resources for their own benefit, subservient to all forms of corruption and violence, you were among those who were no longer worthy to receive God's invitation in its fullness. You were among those who were gathered at the end, almost forcefully, without really knowing why, without being fully aware, gathered in the midst of those who were good and bad although unaware of being good or bad, collected between ignorance and laziness, fear and mud.

Whoever you are, however you were invited to life according to God's glory, and whatever way you responded to that invitation, never forget that there is something you should nver dare to do unless you want to live forever in the arms of death which never dies. Whatever your answer to life, always be properly dressed for the feast. What is the proper dress for the feast? What is the wedding  garment the King asked his guest to wear? It is gratitude. Since the time of Adam, when man turned against God and realized he was naked, the only proper dress for the feast is gratitude, and the only sacred oil that can continually re-consacrete him to life and make his face shining is his smile.

Whatever your answer to life, never dare to be ungrateful or to stop smiling. Whatever happens in life, always wear the wedding garment of gratitude and never stop anointing your face with the holy oil of a smile; this is the brightest, wisest choice you can make. Whatever happens in life, if you take off the garment of gratitude and you choose to stop pouring the sacred oil of a smile on your face, you are making the most devastating, illogical, and stupid mistake. It is the sin that knows no forgiveness.

Why is the garment of gratitude and the oil of a smile so crucial for human life? Because the person who is in a spiritual and mental state of gratitude cannot at the same time be in a spiritual and mental state of judgment; that person cannot use his/her psyche like an axe always inquiring and judging, judging everyone, everything, even God.

In the same way, those who smile wholeheartedly, those whose smiles truly comes from their hearts, cannot be envious and think badly of life. When we are grateful, we are not judgmental and we cannot think ill of God. When we smile, we cannot be envious and we cannot think ill of life. Those who live in gratitude and with a smiles on their faces are saved forever. Whatever happens in life, never take off the garment of gratitude, never stop anointing your face with the holy oil of a smile, because the King might not recognize you.

Always be grateful to life, you will quench the consuming fire of judgment. Keep smiling, always, and you will cast all envy away from you and the King will keep you in His loving embrace forever.
